I have a variety of poetry workshops suitable for adults of varying abilities but here are some examples of workshops I have run in primary schools.  Please contact me concerning my charges for workshops, as they vary depending on how many are booked at a time.

Sea Haikus

Learning objectives: To understand syllables and write haiku poetry.

The workshop begins with an illustration of syllables using Sylla the robot.  Each child or group of children then draws and cuts out a sea creature and writes a three-line haiku poem in the middle of the creature.  A display is created from the sea creatures with additional seaweed etc.
